IA, Des Moines / IA, Iowa City
Lily DeTaeye has been extensively sharing her music around Des Moines, hitting the coffee shop, open mic and farmer’s market circuit heavily. At just 19, DeTaeye’s powerful, soulful voice is reminiscent of Caroline Smith with a diverse musical ability echoing the Lumineers.

Writing tunes since she was just four years old, the Des Moines native has never been shy about sharing her artistic gift. Station 1 Records released her debut album “Nothing To Say” in 2014, and she recently collaborated with 80/35 alums and label-mates MarKaus and SIRES on a track called “Barely Breathing,” which dropped earlier this spring. Be sure to catch her when it’s her turn to take the stage at this year’s 80/35.
