Des Moines, IA
Aaron Earl Short has been a part of the Des Moines music scene for years. He’s performed with The Creek Dwellers, Eastside Brothers and his family band, The High Crest. But earlier this year, Short released a new solo album, “Watchlist,” which demonstrates that even on his own, the singer-songwriter is still making giant musical leaps.

Short is a one-man band, the kind you want to spend an evening picking with on a front porch. He’ll bring that sound to the 80/35 stage this year, demonstrating that whether he’s playing with a band or by himself, Short’s sound can perfectly fill any space.
